Dr. Virgen is an Assistant Attending at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in the Department of Medicine, Dermatology Service. He is part of the inaugural cohort of MSK Faculty Scholars. Dr. Virgen cares for patients with skin lymphomas (such as cutaneous T-cell lymphomas, cutaneous B-cell lymphomas, and others) as well as for cancer patients and survivors who develop skin, hair, and/or nail conditions as side effects of cancer treatment. Before joining MSK, he worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He completed his residency at the University of California, Irvine, and earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta.
